Dub the Roaming Yogi

Dub is a Roaming Yogi who lived the American dream before waking up to the reality of cancer, 70-hour workweek and a mailbox overflowing with bills. After winning the battle over cancer he started untangling his life from the shackles of materialism leading him to a sojourn to the East. The mystique of the east always beckoned, Nepal didn’t disappoint with its magical Himalayas the home of Mount Everest, Tibet to the north and India to the south. In this birthplace of Buddha, he came across yoga with a heart and mind open to the possibilities; it was just what he was looking for without him knowing. Upon becoming a certified yoga teacher he created “Zen Zone Yoga” (#DubZYoga) a roaming yoga studio bringing yoga to all those who are interested in giving yoga a chance as well as practitioners.

Nepal embraced Dub and guided him along a hopeful path delivering him to a higher awareness and a balanced existence. The opportunity to do something fulfilling with his borrowed time on earth was right before him. As he was open to receiving the knowledge of yoga, he is now eager to share and contribute. Dub is embarking on a journey of giving, as he will offer the experience of yoga to those who might not otherwise get an opportunity to try it. The donations he will receive from generous yoga practitioners will be passed along to reconstruction efforts to rebuilt a ravaged Nepal struggling to rise up from the ashes of the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake of 25 April 2015. Asia, North American, South America, Europe and Africa; five continents which Dub will cycle through giving yoga classes. He will set up his Zen Zone Yoga roaming studio in preselected cities and location as well spontaneously in location as conditions would allow. Your contribution will provide the necessary funds to secure the journey’s bicycle, traveling yoga studio, tent, sleeping bag, safety gear, visa fees, incidentals, etc for Dub to cycle the world brining yoga to all while raising funds for Nepal’s reconstruction. You can also take part in this journey by attending his yoga sessions in a location near you! Dub will update his facebook.com/DubZYoga page as well as his blog, TheRoamingYogi.blogspot.com. His twitter @dubvandina will utilize the hashtag #DubZYoga for those who prefer the platform. “In peace, love and awareness, through yoga, for our collective humanity,” Dub 2016
