I'm currently in Nagarkot on top of this breathtaking mountain. They say that if you hold a candle up to the heavens, the sun will spark it aflame. There is truth to such exaggerations about this sleepy village at 7200ft above see level. I can't think of a better place to be as I get ready to kickoff my world cycling tour! I will be cycling with the Tour de Barpak from Kathmandu, Nepal at 6am on April 22nd, this Friday! The first year memorial puja for the souls of those who perished in the aftermath of the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake will be held on the 24th at the epicenter in Gorkha.
